As the center of the Plate Specialist I was an independent broker that helped the company develop its center of the plate program. I was the only specialist in a 80 million dollar company with over 200 employees.

I managed the sales force with day to day activities on helping them with their pipeline and growing business. Our territory was the eastern United States from West Virginia to Maryland and as far south as South Carolina. My goal was to educate the sales team and change the company’s image as a center of the plate leader. In my tenure I help change multiple procedures in our meat shop and developed a seafood program the sales team could stand by its products.

I was also in charge of our food shows and developed the very first center of the plate show which was a tremendous boast to our profile. 75% of my time was spent traveling with business to businesses calls. I excel in cold calling and closing business. I consider myself one of the best closers in any business or company I have worked for.

Continue to manage our sales team but also took on operational activities. The most impactful project I am currently working on is a new addition to our business that will start a local agricultural movement in our state but also other states in Appalachian region. This new processing facility will hire 40-45 more employees and even more in times of seasonal needs. We will also have the ability to train students in a trade that can help them obtain an Associate’s degree. So, there will be a huge educational aspect to our business model.
