This letter confirms that Ramona Rogers was employed as a Design Office Assistant under my supervision.
Ramona was employed by SNC Lavalin from February 2012 to July 2013 and was employed to assist in the Design Office. This position was assigned to Ramona, due to her experience as a Document Controller, some knowledge on AutoCAD, and her positive personality.
Ramona was responsible for drawings that went from Design Office to Document Control, ensuring the quality is correct, relevant signatures were on drawings & created pdf files which were issued to the client. Ramona was also responsible for some back drafting & minor drawing work, as well as Drawing Registers and filing. Her knowledge of the working around the Design Office, together with her Excel knowledge was of great value. She used her initiative to improve on documents & systems in order to create a smoother work flow.
Ramona attended a N3 course at African Academy, to gain more knowledge on draughting. This was done on a part time basis, on Saturdays & proved that she is very keen to develop further.
I have a high regard for Ramona's work and abilities and will recommend her for a suitable position.
