JOB TITLE:

To assist the Executive Housekeeper in smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping department, ensuring maximum Guest satisfaction and adhering to the standard required by the Hotel and assist in the planning process.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Managing the all the guest arrival and from room division arrival for villa and rooms and guest needs.

•Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department to include appropriate cleaning of all Guest Rooms, all public spaces, offices, seating areas, washrooms, restaurants and Beach area.

•Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.

•Daily supervision of the Housekeeping staff including the Supervisors.

•Purchase, re-order and maintain Housekeeping supplies and inventory.

•Conduct pre-event inspections of all rooms and public areas.

•Schedule and train all new Housekeeping staff members.

•Maintain the Housekeeping budget, providing billing summaries and expenses for all pre and post events.

•Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.

•Determines and maintains the department work schedule used to notify staff of upcoming events and ensure proper preparation and staffing for each event.

•Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and replacement of used and damaged equipment.

•Ensure all Housekeeping staff is complying with the company standards regarding dress and appearance.

•Brief assigned Housekeeping staff, schedule duties and tasks and ensure follow-up of all assigned tasks in a timely manner.

•Train new team members on assigned tasks, proper handling and use of chemicals.

•Ensure that team members have all necessary cleaning equipment.

•Ensure that team members are compliant with safety regulations.

•Responsible for writing the daily work order and follow-up.

•Plan, Train, organize, develop and motivate team members.

•Ensure the follow-up of all jobs assigned to team members, including job quality and productivity.

•Ensure that all paperwork assigned to this position is completed and submitted in a timely manner to Executive Housekeeper.

•Contribute to management meetings when required and communicate fully with the management team.

•Conduct monthly linen inventory, (or regarding to the hotel standard).

•Maintain the Housekeeping linen, towels and bathrobes all times.

•Establish and implement operating procedures and standards

•Plan and coordinate the activities of Housekeeping supervisors and Attendants as well inspect assigned areas to ensure standards are met.

•Apply Human Resource and financial Management skills such as training, scheduling and evaluating performance, setting and adhering to a budget

•Handle administrative tasks.
