Current Research

I studied 85% of all the Murex shells excavated at the site of Mitrou in the East Lokris region of Greece. I am currently conducting a series of statistical analysis on these data through the R markdown program to determine the relationship of purple dye production to the rise of a political elite at Mitrou. This study is part of my undergraduate thesis, directed by Dr. Aleydis Van de Moortel
