Head of Quality Engineering Responsible for the design, implementation,and leadership of a quality management program for a start-up that makes complex electro-mechanical systems. Led a culture of quality by engaging all parts of the organization and putting controls in place to manage change and help improve quality.

●Implemented inspection checklists to monitor, record and track in-process quality and developed work instructions to support inspections.

●Instituted an ECN process to formally capture and review changes.

Senior Quality Engineer Supporting The College Board AP programs. Provide oversight of quality activities related to Products and Programs, including customer/client interaction. Develop and manage corrective and preventive actions, quality controls, and quality reviews. Perform process and vendor audits and support the AP operations, delivery and scoring teams for all quality assurance functions.

●Received SPOT award after recently being hired. A severe issue occurred, and I was able to quickly learn and execute ETS processes for recognition and recovery required to resolve the issue. Also assured we met our commitments to the customer in regard to corrective actions and proposed improvements.

●Documented and managed several major supplier corrective actions for our client including identification and facilitation of process improvements to prevent recurrence.

●Facilitation of process mapping for new processes and continuous improvement efforts.

Quality Manager for two AS9100 Sister Companies in a Military and Aerospace regulated industry. Organized quality assurance initiatives, continuous improvement and customer fulfillment. Business Quality Lead: Provided process and product quality support by implementing a TL9000 compliant Quality Management System for the Access Networks Business. Drove New Product Introduction and adherence to the M-Gates process to deliver products on time, on scope and on cost. Implemented continuous improvement strategies via six sigma methodologies. Tracked and supported product field issues and report to upper management.

●Implemented corrective actions to improve product quality and processes for global vendors and manufacturing sites.

●Led Tiger teams (Kaizen events) to address critical customer issues and solve complex product quality issues and bring resolution to restore customer satisfaction.

●Successfully facilitated and led initial implementation of TL9000 compliant Quality Management System for three sites within Business units with zero nonconformances. Team was commended for levels of preparedness and professionalism. Successfully followed up with zero nonconformances in the surveillance audit to the updated R4.0 TL requirements.

●Instituted monthly Quality Management Systems reviews with the senior leadership team to review the health of the quality system including product and process performance, performance against quality objectives and customer feedback. ●Implemented a Failure Review Board (FRB) to provide feedback into the business on product field performance, reliability and returns.

●Created and implemented division-wide TL9000 compliant CAR and PAR system used to track, measure and drive closure of all corrective and preventive actions.

●Named a Process Champion in developing a standardized division-wide process to drive development and govern adherence to a product development life cycle model.

Quality Manager. Responsible for product quality of mechanical and electronic components from raw material through final assembly and test within a lean manufacturing environment.
