POINTS TO CONSIDER WHILE LOOKING AT MY

APPLICATION

A few strengths that I possess include…

● Always maintaining an organized

workspace as well as an organized work

style.

● Very determined and love to be

passionate about my work.

● I work hard and make it a point to make

a positive impact.

● Fast and efficient learner, I catch onto

things quickly.

● Always open to great opportunities that

will build me as a person and teach me

new things as well as flourish into a

possibility of a career if it positively affects

my goals in life.

● Being able to multitask efficiently.

● Open minded, but also holding

leadership qualities

A few weaknesses include…

● I tend to be a perfectionist.

● I am really hard on myself and hold

myself to a higher standard regardless of

my age and certain experience.

*Working at multiple places with short

employment times should come with an

explanation, otherwise you're left with

doubt. To start, I had my first job at Dunkin

two months before college which was in a

different town. I started there to get some

experience so it would be easier to find a

job in the new town. I then found a job at

Cracker Barrel and left because of a

manager's actions and attitude. Shortly

after that I had a family issue and had to

move back to my hometown. I worked at

Staples and Jaydeez at the same time

until Staples shut down. After that I moved

to Marble Falls and got a job at

Chick-Fil-A. I left to find a better

opportunity and tried H-E-B in hopes of

moving up to a higher leadership position.

The position I applied for was a cashier

position in hopes of moving towards a

floor managing position however, it didn’t

progress the way I expected it to. I finally

moved back to Bastrop and I am here to

stay. I got a teaching job at Sowing

Excellence which ties in with my career

choice as a teacher and I have been

working there for the past year. Once I

graduate college, teaching will most likely

be my career unless a better opportunity

arises.

Positives with having experience from

multiple places include…

● Gaining customer service skills in

different scenes.

Sales, serving, retail

All ages of customers

Building relationships with

customers

Understanding how to handle

tense situations and complications

● My ability to work efficiently at a fast

pace is second nature to me.

Serving forces you to work with

multiple groups of people quickly

while ensuring great service and

tending to each group's needs.

● As a print and marketing associate I had

to build relationships with customers while

producing high quality products in a timely

manner.

Time management

Organization

High quality work while working

at a fast pace

● Working in sales taught me how to sell

and upsell products. Using what they say

they want and knowing your product

enough to where you know what they will

need is important when showcasing a

product. The customer needs to view the

product as a great compromise from a

sales associate perspective as well as

accommodating to everything they want to

make the sale.

New sales knowledge

Quickly learning product and

how to make it appealing to

customers

Learning compromising with

customers

Upselling

Accommodation
