When hired as Repairs Coordinator, I was tasked with eliminating a 5-year backlog of customer repairs. I was able to bring the backlog up to date in 10 months and establishing a two-week turnaround on all incoming repairs thereafter. I devised a cross training program for all repair technicians and implements an incoming repair evaluation process, repair and QC process creating greater efficiency. This improved the repair turnaround time by approximately 150% and increased annual revenue from repairs by almost 200% from the time I started the position. Dealt directly with repair clients, keeping them apprised of their repair order status, expediting when needed, and connecting them with an application engineer if failure was due to customer or application misuse.
Promoted to Client Service Liaison for the East Coast. Within a year, I was responsible for the East Coast, Midwest and Europe. Responsible for timely coordination between sales, engineering, manufacturing, repair and shipping departments.
