10/2022-2/2023 Indian Heatlh Science Center (Santa Fe) employed as a contractor with AB staffing. Medical technologist duties. There is not blood bank or microbiology section.

9/2021-7/2022 Tricore Reference Laboratories generalist at Presbyterian Hospital Santa Fe. There was not a microbiology section.

12/2010- 6/2021 In 12/2010 Genzyme Genetics was sold to LabCorp Senior Medical Technologist (Tech IV) Biochemistry Lysosomal Storage disease and Tay Sach enzyme carrier screening. Maintain quality control, linearity, precision, accuracy, reagent, control and standard preparations. Assess competencies. Instrumentation: Quantech Fluorometers, Tecan Microplate Readers, Branson Sonicators. Genysis 20 Spectrophotomer.Janus liquid level handling system. I also am trained to work in the main lab portion of biochemistry. Blood Spot assays. DXI, Immulites. Write and review standard operative procedures. I train and technically oversee personnel who work in the areas that I lead/senior.

04/2010-12/2010: Genzyme Genetics: Senior Medical Technologist (Tech IV) Biochemistry Lysosomal Storage disease and Tay Sach enzyme carrier screening. Perform and make all the reagents for the assays. I validated the Perkin Elmer Janus Liquid Level Handling Pipetting System. Technically oversee 6 technologists.

07/2007-04/2010: Genzyme Genetics: Lead Medical Technologist (Tech III) Trained a lab assistant. Instrumentation: Turner Modulus Plate Microplate Reader (Promega). Perkin Elmer Multiprobe II Liquid handling system. Quantech Fluorometers. Genysis spectrophotomer. I had experience with the Tecan Evo Automated Pipetting System. Technically oversee 5 technologists.

11/2004-2007: Genzyme Genetics: Medical Technologist (Tech II). I maintain the Lysosomal Storage Disease Storage Lab as well as the Tay Sach Enzyme Carrier Screening testing laboratory which included training personnel. In 2006: I validated the dry blood spot assay for acid-alpha glucosidase (Pompe) by 96 well plate. Instrumentation: Eppendorf EP Motion 5075 and Tecan Genios microplate reader. Technically oversee 3 technologists.

07/2004-11/2004: Genzyme Genetics: Medical Technologist (Tech II). I set up the Lysosomal Storage Disease Laboratory within Biochemistry. Responsibilities included ordering chemicals and equipment. I validated manual fluorometric/absorbance testing enzymes: Chitotriosidase, Angiotensin converting enzyme, Tartrate Resistant Acid Phosphatase, Glucocerebrosidase (Gaucher), Alpha-Galactosidase (Fabry). Wrote standard operative procedures and prepared all reagents, controls, and standards. Monitored quality control.

11/2000-7/2004: Genzyme Genetics: Medical Technologist (Tech II). Biochemistry Laboratory assaying pre-natal markers: AFP, HCG, Ue3, and Inhibin. Testing included: Radioimmunoassay(RIA), DPC Immulite 2000’s, ELISA, Beckman Coulter Unicel 800’s(DXI). Attended DXI training in Brea, CA to convert Ue3 by RIA to the DXI. I performed the validation. Tay Sach enzyme carrier screening which included: sonication, Bradford protein Assay, primarily manual fluorometric assay. Instrumentation: Packard Multiprobe II.

01/2000-06/2000: Tricore Reference Laboratories: Medical Technologist (Tech I), Presbyterian Hospital Rapid Response Laboratory, Blood Bank. Albuquerque, NM. ABO, Rh, antibody screen, antibody identification, cross match, cord blood, release of bone/blood/ and tissue products.
