Reported to the plant manager, I was responsible for tracking mold shot counts and PM schedule.
I was responsible for continuous improvement activities to reduce cycle time and improve part quality; I scheduled and tracked all repairs and engineering changes. I sent out RFQ’S for new mold builds, EC’S, and most repairs place and track the tool shops’ progress to ensure that they are on schedule and following our guidelines. I manage and schedule all activities for the tool room.
(Reorganization of the entire tooling program between Howell & Wixom. My position was eliminated)

Reported to the corporate quality manager, I did the final trials to make sure the mold is ready for production I was responsible for final sign off prior to start of production, I was also responsible for repairs, and engineering changes I was responsible for sending out RFQ’S and shipping the molds to & from the tool shops, I did the design review follow the mold through the tool shop to make sure they have all information that they need and make sure that the mold will be done on schedule as well as any other needs our suppliers may have.

I reported to the plant manager, responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the tool room and the tool room foreman. I was involved with trouble-shooting problems with molds on the production floor. I was Responsible for all new incoming tooling launches prototype through the PPAP Stage and into production launch, and for ordering components for molds and trim dies.
Reduced mold change time from 3 hours to 1 hour.
Reduced cost of mold components by utilizing other sources, saving Chassix 2 to 3 times my annual salary.

Prototype Tool Department
I Established and managed this new department; I was responsible for cost justification and purchasing the equipment and staffing this new department I was able to bring our prototype tolling in house and build hard prototype tooling in 4 weeks.

Shortly after starting I was also given these departments because of my past experience I they felt that I could improve these areas as well.
By updating the CNC department, I was able to increase the throughput by a factor of 4 times.
