VP-Branch and Business Banking Center Manager

Manage a $115 million full-service award-winning office in Englewood, Ohio.

Maintained the deposits, loans and profitability of the branch and grew it, through one of the most difficult banking periods in history.

Received many company awards for Customer Service and production. Recognized numerous times for relationships with other areas of the bank.

Responsible for all business loans, accounts, merchant processing etc., at this Business Banking Center.

2008 – Present Butler Township, Ohio

Successfully campaigned and was elected to represent the citizens of this large township in its financial affairs.

Have successfully managed the finances of the township during a difficult economic period, while growing the township’s services and increasing business development substantially.

2002 - 2007 Monroe Federal Savings Bank

` Director of Banking Operations, 2002-2007

Manage the branch operations of this successful $68 million mutual community bank.

Was hired to convert the bank from a Savings & Loan environment to a Savings Bank.

Added consumer and commercial loans to the types of loans offered to customers. Managed Commercial Loan Portfolio of customers with sales of $500,000 to $50 million.

Worked with the community and customers to build our deposits and loan portfolio. Improved the bank’s image in the community.

Managed the construction, purchased all equipment, worked with the contractor, and hired the staff for the new branch. Successfully worked with our marketing and advertising agency to build awareness and branding for the bank in the new area.

Closed mortgage, investment mortgage, line of credit, small and mid-level commercial and consumer loans.

2001 – 2002 Kforce Corporation

Manage the operation of four offices in Ohio and Kentucky, including Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus and Louisville.

Was hired to start up or turn around each of these four recruiting and staffing offices during a recession.

Was successful at increasing sales, profitability and turning around all of the offices with problems, by adjusting and motivating the staff, as well as helping to develop new business and reducing expenses

National Director, Financial Practice

Managed a practice of 450 recruiters in 67 offices nationally.

Increased Financial Practice permanent recruiting revenue from $750,000 to $4 million in two years and $40 million after the successful integration of two other divisions.

Tripled the Financial Practice Staffing Revenue from $500,000 to $1,500,000. After the successful integration of two other divisions, the Financial Practice had staffing revenue of $60 million.

Member of the Corporate Integration Team during the merger of three divisions.

Built and managed a practice from one person in 1998 to 250 in 2000.

Attended “Performance Forum” as one of the top producers of this $4 billion corporation.

Developed training programs for the practice.

Placed CFO, Controller, Vice Presidents, and others into some of the nations most respected corporations, and placed various levels of staff, (including Sr. Managers of Audit and Tax), into “Big 5” CPA firms.

Branch Manager – Dayton and Western Ohio Area

Managed a $7 million area/office that was one of RHI’s most successful offices.

Increased permanent placement revenue by 300%.

Increased sales in a mature office by 50%.

Increased average billing rates and markups, and increased gross margins to an average of over 30% for the Accountemps, OfficeTeam and RHI Consulting divisions.

Personally placed $275,000 in 1997, while managing the area.

Implemented training course for new recruiters.

Started the RHI Consulting division in the area.

Successfully negotiated a new five-year lease for the main office, for a 40% larger space while decreasing monthly lease expense.

Expanded, renovated and redecorated a 3700 Sq Ft facility without experiencing any interruption of operations.

Owner – Director

Owned and operated a franchise of a national executive search company.

Obtained financing, started and operated the business, in which; I consulted with and recruited management and technical staff for small to major companies nationally. Emphasis was placed on robotics, automation and controls, food processing and food processing equipment, information systems, and accounting and finance.

Presidents Club member for being one of the corporations most successful franchises during a major recession.

1986 – 1989 PNC/Cityfed Financial/The Kissell Company

VP – Secondary Marketing Operations Officer

Full responsibility for a division consisting o 115-175 people, which received, accounted for, set–up, and reviewed loans for legal, investor and federal agency compliance.

Delivered securities into the Wall Street investment houses or the Secondary Securities Market.

Protected and accounted for documentation for a $13 billion loan portfolio.

Member of the Executive Committee.

1984 – 1986 Limited Corporation

Controller/Corporate Store Planning Division

Responsible for the accounting, planning and administration of a $140 million budget for the design and construction of new stores and the remodeling and maintenance of existing stores. This included relations with landlords.

Responsible for the costs and budgeting for many large special projects including a $65 million shipping facility and distribution center.

1980 – 1984 Beverage Management, Inc. – Seven Up Co. of Dayton

Controller

Full P & L responsibility for a $20 million multi-location manufacturing division.

Was one of the most successful and profitable divisions of this corporation, even though we were not nearly the largest.

Received the prestigious 7 UP Masters Award three years in a row. The only producer to ever accomplish that distinction.
