superintendent

SIERRACOL –CEDCO

Company in the hydrocarbons sector with operations in Colombia - www.sierracolenergy.com

Yopal, Casanare

12/2018 – 03/2022

Encharge for the executive, technical, administrative and supervisory management of the productive oil and gas fields, in the Alcaraván A, Alcaraván B, Rio Verde and Llanos 23 blocks, following CEDCO guidelines, ensuring compliance with the objectives and production goals, cost, safety management and HSE. Define and control the budget for operating expenses and investments in the production blocks, establishing the necessary management and controls to ensure compliance and optimize resources.

Achievements:

Increased the injectivity index of the Tilodirán Well 06 managing to inject an additional 10,000 BWPD (barrels of water per day) per day, which allowed to increase production by 400 BOPD (barrels of oil per day), I also managed to reduce the cost of water treatment by US $ 70,000 / Month. This allowed the intervention of the well to be avoided, also generating a saving of $USD 1.5 MM.

Recovered the production of 3wells (Tilodirán 11, 07 and Canacabaré 09) for a total of 450 BOPD, through various maneuvers, product of an adequate interpretation and analysis of the variables, which allowed to avoid the intervention of the wells, reducing costs by $USD 4 MM.

Expanded the frequency of overhauling from 5,000 to more than 10,000 hours of run life of generators with crude combustion, managing to lower the cost of KW with a saving of $USD 250,000 years.

Strengthened the structure, processes and indicators of the maintenance area, achieving greater reliability in the processes and reducing maintenance costs.

I recovered 120 BOPD of production from the Tilodirán 02 well, thanks to the analysis and interpretation and historical data of the physicochemical well's fluids, the taking of PLT records that gave the basis for the realization of a Work over.

Improved the treatment of industrial wastewater in the production stations of Canacabaré and Paloblanco, reaching data in TSS and O / W below 2 ppm, which allowed to expand the injection capacity of the Disposal well, reduce the cost in energy increasing the profitability of the field.

Increased the power factor of the electricity generation system from 0.75 to 0.9, achieving cost reduction in rents of electricity generation equipment and reduction of energy and fuel consumption.

Resumed operation in the oil and gas production field of the Llanos 23 block, stabilizing production, electricity generation and fluid treatment ahead of schedule, reaching 70 BOPD more, thanks to the opening to production of 3 wells that were not in production; the optimization of the power factor, which allowed to increase frequency and inject more water. Additionally, water treatment was stabilized below 5 ppm in TSS and O/W.

Performed a reorganization of roles and responsibilities with available staff. Simultaneously I requested the hiring of a chemical treatment supervisor, based on an analysis of the cost of hiring the Galqui company who performed these functions, obtaining a cost reduction of $USD 15,000 / month and also managing to guarantee the monitoring of quality, measurement and chemical treatment in all stations. Field Superintendent II

Encharge for planning, directing and supervising the actions of the fields / productive blocks of oil and gas, of the blocks of C & C, Casimena, Casanare and Mapache, ensuring compliance with the objectives and goals of production, cost, safety management and HSE. Define and control the budget of operating expenses and investments. The production of these blocks as a whole, during my management, had a maximum peak of 24,000 BOPD, and 200,000 BWPD with crude from 9 to 33 API.

Achievements:

Reduced the cost of operating and treating wastewater, reallocating roles and responsibilities to achieve greater operational efficiency; I also unified the water management contract with the O&M contract, which allowed to reduce operating costs by $USD 1 MM / year, achieving reliability in the system.

Changed the operating philosophy of the Zopilote, Bastidas and Carrizales stations, achieving an investment cost reduction of $USD 2.5 MM in purchases of injection pumps and $USD 1 MM / year in operating costs.

Implemented the open hydraulic pumping system for wells 22, 23 and 18 of the Carrizales field, using the trunks and injection pumps of the injection well of the field, achieving the reduction of $USD 1 MM / year.

Implemented a new strategy of mobilization of vehicles of loading of crude oil in caravan, carried out follow-up and real tests of the mitigation of the environmental impact of particulate matter, before socializing it with the community, achieving a cost reduction of $USD 1 MM / year, community acceptance, and zero blockades or roads in fact.

Implemented the use of dynamic measurement (Coriolis) for the unification of fields, achieving the RIE (Resolution of Start of Exploitation) for 10 production fields that were with closure notice. Additionally, the ANH implemented the resolution of dynamic measurement at the national level in the unification of oil field production, taking this exercise as a model.

Achieved 97 points / 100 in the Great place To Work measurement in the fields in charge Operations Engineer and
