OBJECTIVE

After 17 years as a highly professional and experienced Program Assistant for the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), in the Office of Research Compliance (ORC), I am prepared for a new challenge and the chance to make a positive impact in a new position.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
Provided administrative support to the IACUC Administrator.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Worked closely with customers, to plan, coordinate, communicate, and support program recruiting, orientation, and social events for ORC, IACUC, USDA and AAALAC agencies.
Responded to customer emails/inquiries.
ADVISING:
Reviewed protocols, amendments, Veterinary Verification Consultations (VVCs) and annual and final reviews for accuracy and completeness.
Prepared protocols for committee review and data entry.
TRACK TRAINING DATES:
Tracked and documented CITI and MSP training requirements for customers listed on protocols.
Supported the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) Administrator with tracking CITI training records for Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) program.
Documented and maintained a list of the data.
TRACK PROTOCOL APPROVAL STATUS:
Reviewed and tracked the activity and deadline of protocols, amendments, VVCs, and annual and final reviews in BOX and Infoed databases.
Followed up with reminders to
committee to ensure timely completion of reviews.
