I’m currently actively looking for a full time job as a Computer Operator, Administrative Secretary, Clerk Typist, Department Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, Secretary, or Staff Assistant. I’m also open and willing to do remote jobs.

Education –I graduated from a 2 Year Business Technical/Vocational/Trade College called East Los Angeles Occupational Center from August 2019-June 2022 and studied Computer Operations

Computer Operations/1: Foundations

In this technical course I learned and emphasis was put on: orientation and safety, resource management, computer hardware, terminology and media storage, computer software, operating systems and virus protection, introduction to word processing, file management, the internet, e-mail, computer ethics, security, and employability skills.

Computer Operations/2: Applications

In this technical course emphasis was put on techniques for word processing and electronic spreadsheets. I learned introduction and safety, keyboarding reinforcement, integrated programs, word processing, spreadsheet, emailing, mail merging, scanning, internet downloading, program upgrades, World Wide Web, operating a presence on the web, newsgroups, troubleshooting, and employability skills review.

Computer Operations/3: Database Management

In this technical course emphasis was put on basic filing, alphabetic indexing, cross-referencing techniques for on-file documents, application of system commands for file maintenance, and the creation, documentation, and protection of functional data files. I learned introduction and safety, basic filing system, cross-referencing, operating systems, database management, and employability skills review.

Computer Operations/4: Presentations

In this technical course emphasis was put on the different types of presentation graphics software, understanding the parts of the PowerPoint screen, navigating an existing presentation, creating a new presentation using the basic principles of design, filling in text boxes, inserting and formatting objects to edit and improve the presentation graphics, adding private notes for the speaker, printing the slides, and tips to maximize the effect and utility of the presentation. I learned how to add speaker notes, employability skills review, inserting and formatting objects, also how to navigate an existing presentation, learned: presentation graphics, printing slides, designing a new presentation, filling in text boxes, introduction and safety, PowerPoint screen, and presentation tips.
