I am currently a coordinator for Pei People Rescue (501c3) which is a New Hope Partner with MCACC, AZ Humane, Pima ACC, HSOY, LHHS and in six other western states. Pei People was founded in 2007 and saves over 120 Chinese Shar-Pei annually that are at risk for euthanasia or in medical crisis and are otherwise unadoptable. I was the founder and operator of the Rio Salado Vizsla Club Rescue, affiliated with the AKC Vizsla Club of America, Inc. from 2003-2009. I was a founding volunteer with Medical Animals in need (M.A.I N.) until joining forces with Pei People in 2012 where I remain active. For Pei People I am responsible for at-large and shelter outreach, temperament and medical needs evaluation, extraction and transport of at-risk dogs, dog/dog evaluation, assist with arrangement of foster placement and medical care, facilitate adoptions and volunteer activities and public outreach and adoption events.
