Lead Paint Technician

May 2017 to April 2018

I was responsible for running 2 industrial paint lines the vertical which had 2 new robots and the horizontal which had 1 new robot and 1 old. Their were 2 paint kitchens where all the paint was kept in kettles and mixed by formulas to be sprayed on the parts for that color of run. I mixed all of the paint for both lines. We had 42 different kittled and about 62 different color formulas also each paint line had a washer that the parts went through I had to make sure at all times the water pressure was kept up, and the soap we used full and screens that caught dirt were not full. When each run changed I put in the programs for the robots so they knew which part it was, what type of paint that needed to be sprayed for each run. I done a final inspection on all parts before they went into the dryers to be dried. At the start of each shift I ran over checking through both ovens to make sure the temperature and pressure was at specs to dry the parts, using a gauge to check the temperatures were correct at the start of each shift. Through out the day and at the end of every day I had reports to do on every thing. Also I ordered paints as needed, hardner for paints, saop for washers, screens for washers and dryers. I turned every thing in to the engineers at the end of day before going home. The company used a specific type of pumps for the paints so if the pumps quit working I took the pumps apart and rebuilt them. I did all of the maintenance to both paint lines daily if needed. We made all of our parts from injection molding machines we made parts for Toyota,Honda,Lexus,Subaru and Ford.
