Vice President of both Quality and Audits for an OEM world leader in the design and manufacture of vibration mounting isolators, seismic equipment, engineering, and Accreditation services serving companies like, Caterpillar, Boeing, Raytheon, JCI, in Aerospace, Defense, HVAC and Power generation. I am responsible for managing and performing all Quality audits, investigations, and Risk Management; ISO and IBC recertification and supplier audits for certified seismic products, auditing such companies as Caterpillar, Cummins, Kohler, MTU, and Siemens in the US, China, India, Brazil, Italy, Ireland, France and England, Mexico, and Canada, to maintain their product certifications to IBC seismic codes or issuing CAPA’s as needed.

I directed both the Quality and Audits departments. A TQM program designed to ensure continuous product improvement of quality production of products and established standards and customer needs with a focus on maximizing product reliability and minimizing costs at three locations, NJ, Texas, and Puerto Rico. As well as being the Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) for VMC suppliers globally, as SQM I work to ensure suppliers, maintain a compliant quality system by abiding by internal requirements as well as ISO requirements.

Manage inspection personal and activities to assure manufacturing of product and processes conforms to established specifications of the customer or government.

Develop and analyze statistical process control systems to improve quality and reliability of products and manage RISK while directing and investigating, CAPA and MRB, RMA’s and PPAP submissions. Act as Lead Auditor for re-certification audits to ISO 9001:2015 and 17065. Note: VMC is the only ISO certified seismic accreditation service in the world for Seismic certifications.

Responsible for customer satisfaction through Audits, site visits and surveys to ensure suppliers continue to provide components within specifications through First Article Inspections and use of a Sampling plans. Provide objective evidence, procedures, manual etc… are being followed

Quality Manager

Power Rite is a metals manufacturer, specializing in Chains, gears, pulleys, shafts, bushing and many other metal products. As Quality Manager I am responsible for development and deployment of a Strategic Quality Plan at the plant level, in China, and overall Quality leadership to the organization, providing support for a Total Quality program to all our stake holders. Responsible for ensuring continuous production of products consistent with established industry standards (i.e.: ISO 9001, IEEE, etc.), government regulations GMP’s, Mil Standards, and customer requirements. This position has both strategic and tactical elements, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high energy environment for medical devices, Aerospace, Defense, consumer products. At Newark Airport--11/2011-3/2012

Newark Airport Site Manager, a 24/7 operation, with 75 direct reports; responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance and operations, of Terminal B for Delta. I was proactive in risk assessment of probable equipment failure or operation disturbances also managed all contingency plans. Managed a staff of 30 techs plus administrative Assistant.

Oversaw the maintenance and operation supervisors, ensuring ALL FAA safety rules and regulations in the execution of daily operations were followed.

This was a new start up contract position until manager could relocate from Canada.
