I have over 16 years of professional experience in the area Construction Management, Project Management, Transportation Inspections for Water/Waste Water, Highway DOT projects as well as MOT and Building Inspection field services. I am fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and have experience working as a field (RPR) for large-scale construction projects. My duties have included construction mentoring to other office field engineers with observation, monitoring quantities, certified payroll (Davis Bacon) and reporting to EOR. Chicago, IL- EPA representative on MIG/Dewane Landfill projects in upgrades for monitoring of the landfill, gas vents and groundwater monitoring; as well as kept maintenance of existing systems for landfill cap and the collection extraction system. Tampa, Florida RPR - Project Representative Resident Project Representative, Northwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility in Hillsborough County, Florida. The project was an upgrade and expansion from 5 mgd to 10 mgd. This project included new preliminary treatment, two new 5-mg pre-stressed concrete tanks, new aeration basins and fermentation tanks, clarifiers, ultraviolet disinfection, sand filtration, SCADA, and electrical and emergency generation buildings. I was responsible for all construction observation and documentation and was liaison with the design engineers. I participated in progress meetings, reviewed pay applications and schedules.

01/2001 to 01/2007 Chapel Hill, NC Owasa Authority I served as the construction inspector for the expansion of an existing WWTP to 14.5 mgd. My duties included, monitoring construction material testing and inspection of reinforced concrete structures, mechanical, architectural, electrical and other civil work on the construction of a new filter complex, UV disinfection (Trojan 3000plus), and post-aeration (Fine Bubble Diffusers). The project included modifications to four existing digesters, and a fermenter, four new aeration basins, new influent Headworks and effluent channels/chambers - as well as, modifications to existing secondary clarifiers, a new nutrified sludge pump station, construction of a new 140 foot diameter secondary clarifier, construction of new switchgear and generator buildings constructed on auger cast piles; a new influent pumping station and head works as well as extensive yard piping (DIP) changes.

Quality Control Inspector, Tampa Bay Water Regional Reservoir, Tampa, Florida. This project involved the construction of a 15 billion gallon off stream reservoir where my duties included monitoring of (soils) fill placed and recording the locations and results of density tests using a GPS computerized tracking system. I also monitored the placement of (soil cement) flat plate and stair step operations on the embankments and assisted the on-site soils laboratory manager on a daily basis performing soil proctors, permeability tests and other field and laboratory tests as necessary.
