Working remotely for Regeneron through Spectraforce, calling various health insurance plans to verify benefits specifically to Eyelea and Administration. I made outbound calls and spoke to a live agent and confirmed effective dates for the policy, confirmed the provider and facility were both in network with the policy. Obtained cost share benefits for both codes. Confirmed both codes were valid and billable. Confirmed if provider was able to buy and bill for product. Confirmed if policy required any prior authorization, pre determination, referrals or any step edit. Once verified and confirmed, a verification letter was created and sent to providers via fax. All information would be updated into Patient Plus system, then data entry would be completed.
