I have over 30 years of Automotive Management and repair experience. I am currently pursuing a position with a strong company that will give me the chance to further support my family.
I currently work for Les Schwab Tire Center where I learned the meaning of hard work and a sense of urgency. I am responsible for training and leading my team in the troubleshooting and repairing of customer vehicles. I communicate the needed repairs and costs with customers. It is also my responsibility to lead my team in the proper repair procedures. Working in a fast paced environment has given me the skills needed to grow the business. Using company approved repair procedures and proper bay management I have lead my team to grow our business by 16% over last year. I maintain a good working relationship with our parts suppliers and vendors. I have the communication skills needed to properly implement the repair guidelines put forth by the company. I also have a great working relationship with my team and managers.
Prior to Les Schwab Tires Center I owned and ran my own business. The experience gained was one of the most important times of my career. It taught me the importance of integrity and honesty. At Straightlign of Utah I was responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of heavy duty and Class 8 trucks and trailers. I performed front end and drive axle alignments. I was responsible for all accounting and cash control. I also maintained a good working relationship with customers and parts vendors.
For Midas Muffler I was employed as the Store Manager. I lead my team in proper troubleshooting and repair. During my time there I trained new employees in how to properly complete automotive repairs. While there I lead my team to a record sales year.
While a Store Manager for AutoZone I was transferred to three different stores where I was responsible for changing negative sale stores to positive selling stores. Given such an important task taught me how to work under pressure and how to make money on a tightened expense schedule. Many of my employees were promoted out of my stores. I trained with the skills needed for success.
I have a great ability to see areas where improvements can be made. I enjoy being a leader and a mentor to my team members. I know I can be a valuable asset to the team at Republic Services in Ogden. My goal is to increase its profitability and grow its maximum potential. I am seeking a career level, leadership position where I can grow and share my talents and knowledge.
