Building Engineer

Responsibilities consisted of starting up from earth new construction ‘A class’ office buildings which included two 5-story towers and a single 7-story building equaling 521,000 sq. ft, on 26 acres, with two parking garage structures & 12 hydraulic/ traction elevators. Acting liaison between sub-contractors and main office by following protocol and overseeing all build outs to be completed. Received three promotions within five years.

Preventive maintenance on 350 KW Diesel Generators – Zenith switch gear

Repaired fountains, pond aerators, lawn aeration, and water pumps

Bulb & ballast replacement and perform electrical repairs

Supervised Subcontractors alone with maintenance, janitorial, security, and landscape staff

Daily rounds, preventive maintenance & tenant work orders of repair.
