Work Experience

Australian Gold/New Sunshine Manufacturing: 2015 – March 2023

Director of Operation and Manufacturing – 2021 – March 2023

Oversee the development and establishment of procedure and process to comply with FDA, GMP, and cGMP Standards. Including to process flow, facility design, contamination risk assessment, and machinery.

Responsible for overall plant quality of finished goods product. This will also include monitoring and analysis of scrap and inventory cycle count discrepancies.

Ensure the safety of the workers and the facility, including the compliance with OSHA regulations.

Direct maintenance staff on priorities for production and facility. Drive labor efficiency projects and resolution of daily issues to keep equipment running at optimal performance. Seek solutions to problems for growth and capacity constraints.

Provide tours and consultation to customers and other potential clients to ensure confidence in the organization and the ability to provide a high quality, reasonably priced product to the market place.

Develop capacity vs. demand models and schedule the personnel and technical resources accordingly.

Reviews production costs and product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division.

Build and justify capital and expense budget for Operation.

Manage new product launch process and communication for approximately 40 to 60 new product launches annually. Coordinate and establish acceptable quality levels and process standards for each new product and ensure consistency of future production items. Run all shrink trail, shipping tests, build all costing sheets for the products. Evaluate upfront designs for manufacturability and develop new processes for new configurations.

Investigates and resolves all employee relations issues fairly and universally adhering to company protocols, with assistance from Human Resources and Director of Manufacturing, as needed.

Administers formal counseling and terminations while adhering to all company policies and protocols.

Managed and set the production budget for purchasing of new equipment, repair production equipment and staffing for two departments between $ 100,000 to 150,000 a year.

Assures all company, manufacturing, OSHA, and safety policies and procedures are followed by members of manufacturing staff.

Partners with direct reporting production and kitting supervisors to set the staffing needs for each department (Staff size between 60 to 120 full time and temporary team members).

Attends regular meetings with C-Suite Executives, Manufacturing Managers and office staff.

Communicates production totals and quality issues for each department to manufacturing managers and office staff.
