INTERNAL MANAGEMENT

Manage a team of 53 members (13 leads and 40 support) across the organization

Monthly target setting of each (12) business line’s collections teams

Follow-up on a daily basis with each team on daily targets, progress & challenges

Support each team in resolving any disputes with customers by escalating internally or negotiating with customer’s team where required

Prepare development plans for reports, identify training required to ensure effective execution of roles and responsibilities.

Supervise the AR Accounting Unit to ensure timely and accurate billing of jobs/service and correction/re-submission after resolution of disputes.

STRATEGIC OPERATIONS

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate credit and delinquency risk

On-going/quarterly credit risk assessments of total AR portfolio of USD 300 Million of customer financials (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow st) to determine capability to continue meeting financing obligations & covenants

Ensure adequacy of credit limit allocations to match business requirements and sufficient diversification of exposure at the portfolio level

Negotiate contract terms with customer’s finance teams during bid-stage to align with organization’s policy and minimize capital charge impact

Engage with customer’s technical and management teams to resolve disputes/late payments with the goal to ensure credit health and minimize hit to the organization’s bottom-line EDUCATION
