I was hired as a Sales Director for Intrinsic Marketing, a search engine marketing company that offered Google AdWords marketing campaigns. My duties included hiring, firing and training 20 sales people and closing sales if needed. I was also responsible for pricing and identifying industries for sales people to call. Due to my excellent sales closer ability and customer services skills, I was promoted quickly to Client Relations Manager. In that position, I was responsible for client retentions, which I maintained at a rate of 95%. In addition, I managed the day to day management of each client’s account and made changes in terms of strategy and pricing. I was also responsible for upselling the entire client base and had a book of business of $200,000 a month of recurring billing. I thrived as a Client Relations Manager and enjoyed that job greatly.

Not only was I responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop, including ordering glass and making sure it was installed with integrity, but I was also in charge of a 10 person telemarketing team who would call remote areas of Alaska at night and arrange for glass to be shipped and installers to be available. I was responsible for ensuring the integrity of the installations. The telemarketing endeavor, which was one of my ideas, was very lucrative for the company.
