I was hired as a Sales Director for Intrinsic Marketing, a search engine marketing company that offered Google AdWords marketing campaigns. My duties included hiring, firing and training 20 sales people and closing sales if needed. I was also responsible for pricing and identifying industries for sales people to call. Due to my excellent sales closer ability and customer services skills, I was promoted quickly to Client Relations Manager. In that position, I was responsible for client retentions, which I maintained at a rate of 95%. In addition, I managed the day to day management of each client’s account and made changes in terms of strategy and pricing. I was also responsible for upselling the entire client base and had a book of business of $200,000 a month of recurring billing. I thrived as a Client Relations Manager and enjoyed that job greatly.

I was a mobile cabinet technician and finishing carpenter for Pacific Crest Custom Cabinets, a large manufacturer that installed all the cabinets of Washington and Oregon’s largest home builder, Arbor Homes. My duties ranged from fixing errors in cabinet installation to selling and installing such items as custom wine racks and desks.

As a cabinet installer and cabinetry finisher in high-end homes, I responded to owners who needed repairs or wanted additional built-in pieces for their homes. My customer service responses and ability to communicate with customers in a concise way were noted by many home owners.

I was a free-lance union set decorator who was promoted to lead man. My responsibilities included running, renting and returning props and making sure nothing was lost or broken, which would have affected budget overages.

My responsibilities included the building of a new stage in Marina del Rey California. I

was in charge of booking the stage, hiring the crews to do the shoots, stage lighting, electrical installation, and stage set-up. My job was to make sure that everything went smoothly. I received associate producer credits for many of the shows shot at the stage.

Not only was I responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop, including ordering glass and making sure it was installed with integrity, but I was also in charge of a 10 person telemarketing team who would call remote areas of Alaska at night and arrange for glass to be shipped and installers to be available. I was responsible for ensuring the integrity of the installations. The telemarketing endeavor, which was one of my ideas, was very lucrative for the company.

I was the locations scout for a large-budget Sony picture classic film,

“Limbo” which was shot in Juneau.

I was responsible for delivering documents to the House and Senate, as well as to the committees when they were in session. I was also involved in lower level political brainstorming for Staff Director, Steve Bell, under Senator Domenici.
