Stryker/ Wright Medical, Arlington, TN October 2016- Production Planner/Buyer
My role with Stryker/ Wright Medical is to purchase raw material for the machines on the production floor. I worked closely with the Production Planning, Warehouse Engineer. I management and supply all inventory/ non BOM parts, cost effectively through appropriate vendors, while optimizing inventory levels and ensuring availability of materials in line with planned requirements.
• Manage the supply of inventory/non-BOM material ensuring a high standard of customer service with disruption to the production plan
• Inventory Management- manage inventory levels in line with agreed targets and report monthly on the status on inventory, past dues, AP issues and backorders
• Ensure and maintain realistic dates on PO’s for accuracy of information for Production, Planning and Customer Service at all times
