PROFILE AND COVER LETTER:

I started working as a packaging technician slowly working my way up the ladder at a company my father worked at for 20 years. I started learning how to operate pneumatic and hydraulic testing as well as the basics for assembly. Along with those experiences I started doing cycle counts for every department in the company for bay advanced technologies. Being given those opportunities to learn I was able to make my way up to kitting positions at therm x and when I relocated to San Francisco I worked as a assembler, modifier, and deburrer for small and large enclosures that I’d assemble, clean, tap holes, paint, kit parts, and wrap sending it off to shipping. I was later given a opportunity by Verily Life Sciences operated by google as a electro mechanical technician doing the new product introduction work and my job consisted of working with PCB boards for the verily study watches and various other projects. The engineers had me create reports, studies, testing, updates using python, report what fixtures needed to create a better experience for assembly processes, and had reports done on what assembly pieces created leakages/ were not compatible. From there I went on to work in research and development for vitrectomy surgical instrumentation. I redevelop the designs we have on market, create safe products that are more affective and operate experimental projects. With all these experiences in the technical field I have learned Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices as well as extensive documentation practices and reports. One of my most pride and joy projects was the verily study watch and since I did the new product introduction every few months or weeks we would start on a new version with enhancements we’d recommend to engineers. I was proud to have done the kitting, assembly, inventory, testing, documentation, hydronic testing, python program installations, and packaging for these projects having them sent out to the medical field for experimental trials. The reason I was so proud of this specific project was because it targeted the elderly patients helping track any abnormalities in their symptoms when they were away from medical facilities. The data would be sent over to what we called a hub full of analytical information. I worked with testing procedures such as RF testing in black boxes to ensure absolute perfection in the performance. Another project is the vitrectomy surgical tools we develop because they’re targeted to those who have diabetes and glaucoma being able to initiate projects that would enhance the products for surgical procedures gave me a feeling of accomplishment knowing I was able to help so many people. I would stop at nothing to perfect my work projects and create a joyful environment. It would be an honor to be considered for this role.

Thank you and Best Regards,

Alejandro Isaac Leon
