Responsibilities

o Forecast procurement needs, planning, developing and buying materials, parts and equipment’s in a timely and cost effective way while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.

o Aggressive supplier Negotiations, Monitoring and adhering to budgeted cost o Responsible for availability of raw materials and spare parts including adherence to Inventory Turnover targets.

o Order materials and services as per negotiated and appropriately approved. Review quotations & purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders through Oracle ERP system in accordance with company approval matrix and negotiated terms and conditions.

o Developing new supplier and follow the selection procedures including sample testing o Responsible for Cost Saving Initiatives

o Supplier Evaluations on regular intervals as per group procedures o Effective handling of defective or unacceptable goods or services with users, vendors and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action. o Adhering 100% to Group Standard Manual(GSM procedures). o Manage all kinds of Internal and External Audits related to procurement department o Monitoring the Global Market trends for RM price. o Actively involved in RM planning and New product launch projects. o Handling supplier contracts.

Major cost saving achievement of around $. 700,000/year by locating an outsourced supplier for tissue Jumbo roll for the period from 2013-2017.

Core member for successful completion of our new Paper Mill project in Abu Dhabi.
