Communication

Drafting letters, emails, and flyers to administration, teachers, and parents outlining programs, their purposes, laws, processes, and needs. Compiling needed communication into parent packets for student enrollment. Communication through email, phone calls, and letters to other districts discussing/requesting student information and records release. Conducting meetings with administration, teachers, and parents to discuss the needs, state testing and linguistic testing information for ESL students. Speaking with parents through various forms including translated documents. Technology Skills

Using multiple computer platforms for data entry, organization and reporting. Some of these include SuccessEd, Google Suite, Microsoft, Eduphoria, Skyward, Apple products, Aesop, Time Kettle, TEA reporting platforms, Canva, Canvas, Summit K-12, Vista Learning, HMH, ST Math, Zearn, and many more. Projects using these various platforms have included the creation of detailed reports with step by step usage directions, slideshow presentations detailing program highlights, spreadsheets to present data. Flyers and brochures created for event promotions. Google Translate, Google Chat, Google Meets, and Zoom utilized in order to make connections.

Organizational and Time Management Skills

Prioritization of daily projects is critical. All files hardcopy and digital must be organized in a manner set forth by Region 17. Organization of materials, lessons, and use of technology platforms for each student is a component of each day. Each student receives a constantly evolving physical and digital folder with resources to promote growth and learning. Teachers receive an organized and evolving list of ELPS and Linguistic Accommodations to drive lesson planning and instruction delivery. Students receive an organized presentation of how to use their learning platforms. Each day I map out the "To Do List" of my day. I organize the order in which these items will be completed based on time needed for completion, deadlines/due dates, and meeting schedules while also maintaining my teaching and intervention schedule. Data Processing and Interpretation

Projects in this area include managing intake, determining eligibility of linguistic testing, program placement, meetings to discuss this data, digital and hardcopy record keeping, reporting, and correct program delivery for each students. All of these are governed by state laws that I must follow in a timely manner to maintain compliance. I also process and interpret testing data for each district assessment to determine learning gaps and intervention placement. Using data, I also help with lesson planning, differentiation of learning, and delivery in PLC meetings. Data is also processed and interpreted in order for me to recommend and determine classroom and testing accommodations needed for students. TELPAS testing data collection and reporting, along with category reporting is done to determine areas of need and program reclassification for the next school year. Phone
