Facilities Protection Officer

Identify security/maintenance issues on property and respond for correction. Assist in the daily process of ID badges for temp workers. Maintain control of the building and all personnel. Address any issue of theft, or negative actions of employees and assist with the process for dismissals. Work with the public coming to the facility and insure positive communications and actions to their needs.

As the Senior Marshal/Sergeant for the department my daily duties are scheduling prisoner pick-ups and evaluating warrant status. Assign vehicles for transports and warrant service. Preparing city issued warrants for marshal attempts and assigning personnel. Communicate information to clerks and other support personnel. I also oversee contract security personnel . Marshals also provide additional building security for the building and investigate citizen complaints, parking issues and other suspicious activities. I also assist the public with information on the courts and the citation process. Oversee and act as courtroom baliff and oversee the protection of judges, prosecutors, attorneys and the public as they attend various types of court. Assist the Chief Marshal with personally writing several of the
