Receive written orders from physicians for durable medical equipment. Ensure that orders are complete and properly coded for proper reimbursement. Make phone calls to facilities when documentation is not sufficient.

Inform patients of copayments and deductibles and direct them to billing.

Complete various special projects including temporary contracts with clients who need assistance with work overflow and other tasks including legal transcription, board meeting transcripts, transcribing interviews, and some translations.

Directly involved in decision making process for purchasing equipment and supplies while maintaining a budget.

Assist with planning of social events for the company including holiday parties and company picnics with responsibilities of hiring catering, purchasing gifts, choosing vendors for our events, making appropriate reservations, and coordinating professional team building activities.

Accomplished various successful transition of software for different clients and different specialties which involved numerous meetings with software vendors, IT specialists and hospital administrators. I was the leader for the transition on our end, coordinating installation and training for all our users and ensuring that everyone was efficiently using the new technology.
