• Plans, organizes, schedules and directs the work of assigned repair, installation and maintenance crews for 5 WWTPs, 6 WW transmission stations, 200 lift stations, over 2000 low pressure pump stations, for the Florida Keys, and the United States Naval Air Station Base.

• Supervise and evaluate 20 assigned staff. Responsibilities include hiring process, training, payroll, scheduling, reviews, promotions, safety, processing employee concerns, performance enhancement measures and terminations.

• Report to Director of Wastewater Operations of the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority

• Correspond and coordinate with US Navy Air station COR and other government personnel for all naval facilities.

• Create, manage and maintain multiple annual wastewater budgets and CIP (capital improvement projects).

• Review and approve all Wastewater engineering design and build projects for FKAA and USN.

• Managed the restoration of catastrophic wastewater infrastructure failure post Category 4 Hurricane Irma. Coordinated with US Naval command, Department of Environmental protection. FEMA, state and county officials. Additionally responsible for the management of 20 (out of state) emergency wastewater personnel, 30 FKAA employees and various support contractors.

• Oversees the installation, modification, repairs and maintenance of all mechanical equipment, machinery, valves, piping, gauges, chemical feed systems, mechanical screens, centrifuges, decanters, mixers, pumps, blowers, media filters, and associated equipment involved in wastewater.

• WWTPO; monitor, reads, calculate, and regulates the flow of sewage, collect and test samples, log test results, meter, feed readings, flow rates, and all other data required for reports.

• Create Emergency Response Plan for FKAA department and Naval wastewater facilities.

• Coordinates maintenance and repairs to assigned vehicles and equipment.
