Professional Experience
Credentialing Coordinator/Medical Secretary RWJBarnabas Health, 5/2022-5/2023 As the department admin, I was the first point of contact for administrative support needs and functions. I was the point of contact for creating the weekly 20 page newsletter that is distributed to over 800 Doctors and other medical staff. I coordinated all Medical Department meetings, sending invitations, booking conference rooms, taking, transcribing, and distributing meeting minutes. I performed credentialing duties such as obtaining updated license information for all medical providers and certificates of insurance on a monthly basis. I maintained medical staff files and contact lists, obtained evaluations for proctored medical staff and tracked the status of all evaluations. I processed and tracked invoices for medical dues for payment. I communicated with Chiefs and Chairs to provide meeting reminders, approve transcribed minutes and other correspondence. I accurately entered and maintained the physician yearly health immunization list and iinformation in a database. I worked with the office team to prioritize workload, track deliverables and monitor progress to meet deadlines. Administrative Coordinator, Sutter Health, 1/2019-4/2022 (Remote position after COVID) While at Sutter Health, I managed 2 very busy calendars simultaneously for the Director of Primary Care and the Director of Womens Health, and for a time, the interim Director of Neurosciences, rescheduling conflicts, maintaining calendarrs, which included one on ones with 15 or more direct reports. I coordinated monthly department meetings, sending invites, booked conference room, taking, transcribing, and distributing minutes of meetings. I was responsible for coordinating our quarterly off-site team building events and providing administrative support for development projects. I was the point of contact for our daily systemwide safety call in which I facilitated and recorded any safety issues for that day. I coordinated with the team on Clinic Roundings, Reliability Coach Meetings, and Patient Experience week. I was the point of contact for the Primary Care Doctors Quarterly Rotation On Call Quarterly schedules. I managed expenses for Directors and Clinic Managers on a P Card. During COVID, I partnered with leadership and the City and County of SF in setting up the first mass vaccination facility and simultaneously continued to provide administrative support to my Directors for the day to day operations in our home office.
