• Clamp: Down stacked pallets over six feet tall as well as transfer freight from “bad wood” pallets and broken pallets to “good wood” pallets up to Amazon transportation standards to help productivity within the Pallet Receive department. Trailer Dock and Release (TDR)
• Trailer Dock and Release trained since June 2017 helping to maintain a constant inflow of work into the facility.
Yard specialist
• Checking in freight and making sure it is for the building as well as observing what is in each trailer to make sure it meets the requirements to go inside our yard and into a dock door
• Checking out trailers and inspecting them to make sure that they are empty and have no freight left inside
• Auditing the yard to ensure that all trailers virtually and physically coordinate
• Inspecting vehicles and making sure they meet amazon expectations before they can enter the yard
• Inquire into drivers loads and direct them to their destinations
• Communicating with drivers and making sure they are given an analysis of our yard rules before entering to ensure their safety and our own.
