Ran the small optical located inside an ophthalmology practice to assist

patients in needing glasses and lenses after cataract surgery. Also

assisted the ophthalmology side of office as needed with technician

duties, surgery scheduling and general office duties when not busy with

the optical.

Assisted the nurses and patients with daily activities and nursing duties

including transcription of patients orders from doctor into chart and

computer, blood pressure and diabetic testing during shifts and any other

help patients need throughout the shift. Basically nursing assisting when

on the geriatric side of the unit to include feeding bathing, toileting

and performing duties assigned by nurses including blood pressures, chem

sticks for blood sugar, EKGs at bedside and others. Had to resign to take

care of sick child.
