CAREER OBJECTIVE

I’m a proactive Quality professional having sound knowledge and wide experience in the field of Quality Assurance and Control in Construction industry more than 7+ Years. I possessed the required level of strong initiative, motivation and drive needed to achieve long-term success. I have strong engineering knowledge in concrete designing, selection, grading and testing. Working with other professional has also widen my exposure to infrastructure project with a strong knowledge to judge the field inspections and material testing of all kinds. QA/QC INSPECTOR – FAHAD BIN ABDULLAH PRECAST FACTORY (PRECAST AND HOLLOWCORE) DEC-2017 TO TILL DATE

• Preparation of Material submittals, Method statements, ITP and Checklist.

• Coordinate with Consultants for mould and material inspection.

• Performs pre pour inspection of all forms, reinforcement, steel structural and MEP fittings, in a timely manner to maintain optimized work flow and assists in finding ways to decrease delays and cause of rework.

• Checks and verifies all dimensions of cast in Embeds/Moulds.

• Check Hollow core bed preparation (cleaning, applying oil, etc.)

• Monitoring Hollow core wire stressing.

• Prepare all reports of hollow core slab (Pre-stressing of wire, pre-post pour checklist, and final inspection checklist) and submit to the project contractor/consultant.

• Completes daily Quality Control documentation.

• Inspect all finished product (precast elements and hollow core slabs).

• Ensure that all precast and hollow core slabs are correctly marked.

• Final inspection of all elements before delivery (tagging, surface finishing, etc.).

• Preparation and issuances of NCR with the proposal for corrective and preventive action.

• Make sure that the Plants are calibrated every quarterly and Compressive Machines and other equipment yearly

• Maintains Daily and Monthly project records (Production and Delivery).

• Monitoring Slump test, Casting and Crushing of cube samples.

• Prepare and submit monthly concrete production and Raw material consumption report QC Engineer and QC Manager

QA/QC INSPECTOR & DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

• Updating and maintain QAQC logs.

• Raising the inspection request for MIR and IR.

• Checking all activities are according to approved shop drawings.

• Inspection to be casted according to the mould and table size.

• Verify shop Drawing and inspecting the mould (dimensions, location of grooves, dowels, sleeves, sockets, lifting sockets and MEP fittings) as per project specifications.

• Inspection of steel structural and Reinforcement.

• Check Hollow core bed preparation (cleaning, applying oil, etc.)

• Monitoring Hollow core wire stressing.

• Prepare all reports of hollow core slab (Pre-stressing of wire, pre-post pour checklist, and final inspection checklist)

• Prepare pre and post pour checklist.

• Inspect all casted elements after demoulded (dimension, surface finishing, cracks, locations etc..).

• Update and maintain the latest revision of all project documents.

• Review, coordinate and forward submittals, inspection requests, technical query to the project contractors.

• Arrange concrete and necessary raw material testing as per inspection and test plan

• Prepare necessary work instruction for calibration, concrete production and testing

• Prevents deficiencies through pre-construction quality control inspection

• Work closely with the field engineering staff acting as their field representative ensuring construction complies with the QA/QC requirements

• Control all aspects of project documentation on multiple simultaneous projects, utilizing various control methods/systems.

• Prepare, operate and update Document Control Procedures in line with the Company’s Document Management System.

• Ensure proper document control support is given to each project.

• Produce and maintain Document Progress Reports to Project Managers.

• Ensure all documentation provided is as per Client quality formatting requirements.

• Work in strict co-operation with the Project Manager to ensure project progress status integration.

QA/QC INSPECTOR in L&T Ship Building Limited, Chennai on-board from 22-07-2013 to 09-08-2015.

• Carrying Out Inspection Process on the Fabricated Materials and Vessels.

• Coordinating with client and making sure work is done according to their requirements.

• Ensuring All the Required Specifications are achieved as per the Required Standards.

• Preparation of WPS and PQR, updating Welder Qualification chart by qualified welders.
