It had initiated a project to build a software application known as the Future Selling Platform that would serve as the primary platform for its travel agency subscribers to access and use its global distribution systems. Travel Port Platform Services (TPPS) is a set of web services residing in the client machines which make calls and connects to the GDS i.e., is the intermediate layer which contains set of web services responsible for establishing communication with the GDS. TPPS helps in keeping the large volume of GDS relatively light as most of the validations take place in the TPPS layer.
