Responsibilities:
Welding pallets, harnesses, subparts and worked on the build table. Assembling, building, and welding our pallets, and harnesses together. I would do rework fixing parts that don’t conform to quality standards. Using our torch, plasma cutter, and grinder. Using the over head crane very often as needed. Put out so many numbers with such great quality, it brought production numbers needed down by 30%. Company was so impressed I was offered a promotion to Q.A. Responsibilities:
Cutting all the steel, and several different sized metal tubes to correct length used to fabricate our frames per blue prints. Fabricate and welded together frames used to hold monitors that operate plastic injection molding machines. Responsible for any and all welding around the shop. Built and assembled components used for these monitors and assemble them to the frames per blueprints. Using power tools, hand tools, mig welder, torches, overhead crane, saw, drill press, and fork truck.

Responsibilities:
Loaded parts on bars, records the bar number and what parts are loaded on the bar. Push bars loaded with parts into chemical plating machine.
Pull bars out of plater when finished and dry, check for all defects. Recording bar number, part number, and the number of good and scrap parts. Box parts for shipment, print label put label on the finished box. Record finished box, and put in the shipment area.

Weld parts together per blueprints and weld list, press parts on machine press adjusting angle and depth of the press as needed per prints. Check parts for quality conformance, use torch, grinder, and cutting wheel to cut parts apart making adjustments as needed. Welding parts back together once all measurements are correct per prints. Recording the number of parts and units put in shipped area.

Responsibilities:
Weld racks together using mig welder, make sure fixtures fit in properly, measurements are correct, and are properly clamped down before welding. Check each rack for quality standards. Use a torch, plasma cutter, and grinder as needed to cut non conforming racks apart. Putting them back in the jigs making adjustments so all measurements are correct, and fits in the jigs correctly. Re weld non conforming racks back together. Clean area at end of the day.

Responsibilities
Grab bin full of parts (using a pallet jack) that need to be welded going by the order of the welding list.
Look at the blueprints to see how part is made. Get all parts needed to complete finished product. Weld, and fabricate as needed parts together as described in the blueprints. Take first and last part done out of every bin to be inspected by supervisor. Checking each part for quality standard before sending it to be inspected. Using a pallet jack put competed bin in the area it is needed next.

Assemble racks for production using a mig welder, and various air, hand, and power tools. Re Weld racks that have missing or sloppy welds. Cut racks that do not conform to the measurements on the blueprints using a torch, plasma cutter, and grinder. Then re Weld racks back together. Quality check each rack to verify conformance to quality standards.
