Additional Information

I volunteered at Legal Aid in 1983 during my Senior Year. Duties included answering and transferring calls to attorneys on a multi line phone. Greeted potential clients as they enter the facility. I would initiate paperwork for potential clients and enter their information into the computer. I filed documents for attorneys. I transitioned into a temporary full time receptionist while the permanent receptionist was out on maternity leave.

I achieved knowledge and skills in the medical field during my clinical rotation at Hill County Hospital to include familiarity with medical terminology, medical protocols, patient rights to confidentiality and privacy. I became familiar with medical procedures and scheduling follow up appointments for patients returning for post procedure medical care.
