Clerical Officer (Field Operations Dept.): Preparation of employees’ time cards, preparation of all internal memos, keying of complaints related to the department on the computer system, preparation and closing of leak repair of service orders, preparation of job orders for contractor backhoe bills, preparation of bill for fuel usage, preparation of attendance report sheet. Receive and disseminate all incoming department mails, receive (walk-in) customer complaints and action work orders for same, address customer complaint calls, filing of documents in filing cabinets, prepare weekly and monthly reports.

Telephone Operator: Answer all incoming calls through the switchboard, route all calls to various departments, making all outgoing calls from the switchboard.

Acting Positions In between periods during approximately 18 years of employment are:

Customer Care Officer: Receive incoming customers, receive and address customer care calls, address customer complaints, open new accounts for customers, prepare payment plans for customers, prepare disconnection and reconnection orders, cashier duties, prepare service orders to address customer complaints, filing of customer files in filing cabinets, update and review customer accounts, prepare weekly and monthly reports.

Accounting Clerk: prepare and submit contractor’s bills on the computer system, check employee’s time cards and submit same to the payroll department for payment, receive and issue contractor cheques, filing of documents.

Administrative Assistant: Receive and disseminate incoming documents, prepare minutes for meetings, filing of documents relating to the department, receive and route all department calls, prepare weekly and monthly reports, update and address customer accounts on the computer system.

Revenue Recovery Officer: analyze disconnection accounts for overdue balances, prepare recheck listings for accounts with outstanding balances, prepare recheck orders for same, conduct site visits to recheck disconnected supplies, issue instructions to disconnect illegal connections, reconnect supplies that become up to date, issue demand and warning letters, prepare weekly and monthly report.
