Duties included daily opening, and closing, as needed, of family-owned legal firm, specializing primarily in family law and some criminal defense. Legal assistant to three attorneys.

Continuous check of telephone messages and incoming emails, with distribution to attorneys as priorities dictate. Scheduling of calendars to include appointments and mediations.

Excellent customer service and screening are of the utmost importance when taking office telephone calls and when greeting visitors to the office who may or may not have a scheduled appointment. New client intake to help make determination of how the firm’s legal services may be of help towards case resolution.
