Accomplished professional with extensive experience in injection mold design, program management, plant engineering, tool room management, and employee relations for Fortune 500 brands. Highly skilled in overseeing EOAT building in house, and injection mold repair with tool room. Hands on working with all internal team, external suppliers, and customers. Adept in working with molds including, B-Series, A-Series, closure, stripper, shuttle, unscrewing, stack, hydraulic, mechanical, extruded, vertical, horizontal, blow, rotary, Thermo-Set, and Thermo-Plastic Resin molds. Known for identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions which enhance performance, improved processes, quality, cycle time, and achieve business goals. Teaching all corporate engineering department personnel courses on Amorphous vs. Semi-Crystalline Polymers properties, characteristics, basic part Design techniques for making quality molded parts, and basic injection molding process at the press. Writing (PM) programs for molds internally, & externally, for tool room mold maintenance based on mold cycles at injection press.

Corporate Tool Engineer: Responsibilities to improve new, & existing molded product quality, productivity, & overall equipment efficiency. Reduce new mold cycle times in production to maximize press capacity. Manage all activities of engineering department, & Tool Room personnel. Responsible for mold design, 2-D, & 3-D part print designs, Manufacturing, product support design, & support of engineering changes to product design. Work with QC Department to resolve issues with Customer. Also work sales department with Customer support. Work with mold tooling room personnel to support in-house production operations. Help develop, & maintain process documentation on mold PMs, & work with process personal in-house to resolve injection press production issues. Work with supplier in new tool builds & repairs out of house. Maintain weekly meetings with Suppliers on new tool builds. Review timing (APQP-Meetings) with Suppliers for internal company review. Attend first shots (try-out) at Suppliers facilities. Work with QC department on part design approval with supplier & attend these meetings. Review with Supplier the DFM’s, Mold flow reviews, & tool design approvals.

Experience with Automotive (Big-Three), Appliances: Whirlpool, & Maytag, & Pharmaceutical Medical Devise designs. Past worked with Customers: Baxter, Colgate, GE, Whirlpool, CERTAINTEED Family of Products, Pharmaceutical Medical Plastics devises for Schering Plough, Johnson & Johnson, & Gatorade.
