Respite Connection
Worked as a respite employee providing respite care to disabled teens and families, as well as teaching the disabled teens skills for activities of daily living. My duties included providing a safe, and supervised environment for the teen, so that they could learn and grow daily with personal, social and behavioral goals in mind.
Education First (EF) – Registered Nurse
Worked as a camp nurse in the EF welcome camp for Foreign Exchange students, who were arriving in America to stay with host families throughout the country. At the welcome camp in Allentown, Pennsylvania, my duties as an RN was to assess and treat the students and staff staying at the camp with various ailments and conditions. If the ailment or condition was serious enough that I was unable to safely and adequately treat the student, they were transported to the urgent care clinic or ER in Allentown.
