COACHING PHILOSOPHY
I have always had a passion for sports, being a multi-sport athlete growing up. I quickly realized volleyball is unlike any sport I’ve played. I am a firm believer in the power of the mind, which is why I strive to instill a confident, positive attitude in the athletes I work with. I feel that a driven work ethic, a positive attitude, and team chemistry will take a team much further than individual skill alone. Work with the CRUSH board, preparing for preseason clinic and tryouts. Plan preseason clinic, tryouts, practice and tournament schedules as well as developmental clinics to further develop the club (12U-18U). Plan, organize and direct volunteers for the annual CRUSH ‘Em Tournament, hosting 8-12 teams.
Recruit, interview and hire coaches each season as well as meet with coaches to go over accomplishments and concerns throughout the season. Build authentic relationships with coaches, players and members. Create a positive, yet competitive culture.
Plan practices and open gyms as well as help develop athletes to compete at their highest ability at various tournaments throughout Oklahoma and the Midwest. Stillwater High School / Stillwater, OK/ 2019-2022 Coordinate with coaches around the conference and state to schedule each season. Schedule, plan, and conduct practice sessions, then review and evaluate all game film. Keep statistics of each game, individual and team, and post them where needed, including MaxPreps.
Plan and implement strength and conditioning programs to enable players to reach maximum performance on the court.
