• Naga 5 – Drilling Operation – Well D18JT-B, Offshore Bintulu - Client PETRONAS. Location: Malaysia Water

Client: Petrofac, Repsol, Petronas

Duties include:

• Liaise with OIM daily to discuss issues / agree day on daily activities and allocate priorities

• Provide interpretation and guidance on related HSSE legislation as required

• Perform daily worksite inspections agreeing on improvements / further actions as they arise

• Demonstrate active involvement and promotion of COMPANY policies, safety initiatives, and programs

• Demonstrate active involvement and promotion of client policies, safety programs, and initiatives

• Attend morning project meetings to highlight HSSE issues

• Provide safety, health, and environmental guidance to project management and workforce

• Liaise and report on safety, health, and environmental issues regularly with the HSSE Manager

• Support OIM in the development of safety meeting agendas and presentation of HSSE statistics and safety alerts

• Ensure incident site preservation was required to gain/establish facts

• Support and assist offshore management to ensure adequate numbers of safety representatives are in place and constituencies established for project personnel in line with current regulations

• Conduct safety audits as required in line with the project audit schedule (area audits, ISSOW, Risk assessment, etc)

• Help develop safety training programs and strategies

• Maintain a written daily / shift activity log to assist in effective shift handovers

• Conduct verbal handovers between Dayshift / Nightshift (unless only dayshift cover is provided)

• Act as a mentor to first-line supervision to assist them in meeting their roles and responsibilities to ensure worksite safety standards meet the expectation

• Assist first-line supervision in risk assessments where required before development of permit to work control certificates

• Conduct a process safety awareness program to make sure HODs (head of the department) to focuses on the incident, accident, and near-miss and to make sure the management focuses on preventing catastrophic accidents, incidents, and near misses. Process safety is to prevent unplanned releases which could result in a major incident.

• To conduct Safety case/Incident Investigation and reporting and follow-up process (Root cause analysis/ Tripod Beta Analysis) for specific safety cases. To identifies the hazards and risks. Support for the OIM was required with the incident investigation and reporting process offshore and ensure the quality of both the investigation and the report. Provide support in Incident investigation and Root cause analysis/ Tripod Beta Analysis where required.

• To promote HSE awareness for barrier management for the newcomers and to the 3rd. parties’ crews during the HSE induction and rig familiarization when the crews join on Rig. To make sure people are aware of to identify missing or degraded barriers and manage the implementation of corrections.

• Heart and Mind coaching to all parties. Develop and implement an HSE Training Process for project team members. SIMOP Operation

• Participate in and/or review the various Formal Safety Assessments

• Ensure the HSE roles and responsibilities for each project team position, key contractor, and vendor positions are established and communicated

• Ensure that Project HSE programs
