Job Summery Of Registered Nurse
Responsible for providing general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through the application of evidence based nursing procedures and practices to all ages on assigned nursing unit. Demonstrating competency in the behavioral, growth, development and psychological needs of patient.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1.Preforms accurate and complete admission assessments.
2.Monitors and document the patient’s condition and the effectiveness of care and interventions.
3.Establishes and implement a care plan based on sound nursing theory,scientific prenciples,professional judgment and individual patient needs.
4.Eveluates and updates the patient’s plan of care to facilitate the achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
5.Maintained confidentiality regarding patient and families.
6.Administers prescribed medications and treatment in according with approved nursing protocol.
7.Assesses for and plans the educational needs of the patient.
8.Provides teaching and educational material to patient or families,which may include diagnosis,tests and procedures,safe and proper use of equipment,use of medications,injury prevention and nutritional needs.
