Retail Store Manager
Starbucks · Full-time Starbucks United States · On-site
My responsibilities were to drive sales, motivate and train all employees, set up seasonal displays, monitor and report all sales, profit and loss reports. I oversaw all hiring and performance reviews. I started Employee Appreciation Day to drive excellent performances from all of them. As a result of our team excellence, we were able to drives sales immensely. Together with all of my employees, we turned a $19,000 a week sales store into a million dollar store the first year and every year after. My store sold the most coffee machines in Houston and were rewarded with exclusive Starbucks hats displaying our accomplishment. This was a great accomplishment, given our store was located in an office building with no visibility or drive through, only 10 employees and only open Monday through Friday from 5am to 6pm. In my time working there, I had the lowest turnover rate of employees. drive excellent performances from all of them. As a result of our team excellence, we were able to drives sales immensely. Robin is one of the people I've met in my career that truly impressed me at every turn. As a Purchasing Manager for a Federal Contractor; I was responsible for shipping materials and equipment all over the world to different US Air Force Bases. During Robins time at Pro-Cargo, she helped me navigate this requirement with complete success and outstanding support. Her expertise and knowledge regarding requirements for federal shipments and navigating the worldwide port and customs processes made every shipment for my organization a success. So thankful for all she accomplished for me and the attention to detail and customer support she provided. Robin is one of the people I've met in my career that truly impressed me at every turn.
