•I taught in a Co-taught Class as the Special Education teacher. The classroom consisted of half of the students having special needs and the other half typically developing. This school’s curriculum was based on the Reggio Emilia Philosophy of teaching. The school was unsuccessful and closed the next year.

•I taught a Self-Contained Classroom that was consisted of mostly children with Autism and others with Behavior Disorders of some kind.

•I taught in a co-taught classroom as a Para Professional. I followed or shadowed a 4 yr-old little boy with multiple delays across all areas of development.

*I finished my student teaching in order to get my MO Teacher Certification. I had a Provisional Certification previously.

Aug 12 – May 15 Stix Early Childhood Center

*I taught a self-contained classroom with two Para Educators. The classroom consisted of anywhere from 4 to 9 children diagnosed with Autism or at least showed characteristics of Autism. Their ages were from 3 – 5 Years.

* In July of 2015 my family decided to move back to Texas to help take care of my mother-in-law.
