Administrative Specialist

Provides high level project management and administrative assistance to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications and the Vice President, Advancement and Alumni Engagement who oversees the law school’s fundraising and alumni engagement activities. This position is responsible for independently facilitating a variety of routine tasks as well as special projects related to the general administration of the Offices of Marketing and Communications also, Advancement and Alumni Engagement. Duties such as donor correspondence, coordination of meetings and travel, record-keeping, data entry, financial reporting, and special events. Tracking dual departmental budgets and spending; create and produce monthly budget reports for Advancement leadership, Create and manage a system to submit, track, and process department POs, invoices, and vendor paperwork, helping to ensure prompt payment for vendors and proper budget management.

Assist members of the Marketing and Communications, as well as Advancement and Alumni Engagement teams with purchase cards, expenses and track bills to department sources, tracing advertising purchases and payments when needed, support the database team by processing simple cash, check or credit card donations to the law school when required.
