Duties and Responsibilities

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours.

• Maintain accurate food inventories.

• Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.

• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at all the time.

• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

• Operate and maintain all kinds of kitchen appliances and equipment

• Maintain outstanding working relationships with staff, guests and managers

• Perform record keeping and reports generation duties (temperature and food hygiene checklist)

• Informing Kitchen Manager in advance of likely shortages

• Cover, date food items at appropriate temperatures & constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices
