PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Designed and perform the Development roles of a small Project in a Hydrocarbons unit to install a new Distillation Tower overhead Reflux System. Wrote, Simulated, and Loaded the New Programming Code into the plant in a timely manner. This small project was keeping the plant safe and operating at a much higher Production rate of ~ $50,000 per day’s production.

Developed and theorized a plan to resolve a problem after 3 months of having pressure problems in a Distillation Section of a plant that was operating at 1/3 of the designed operating capability. Through investigation and Data gathering my conclusion was that the culprit was a piping flaw in the venting piping of the unit. The piping was modified, and the Finishing Section resumed to the Maximum operating capability. The constrained rate versus the normal operating rate equaled to 1500 #/hr or $100,000 per day.

Demonstrated initiative and innovation by quickly learning a new Technology and Acid Process, bypassing Training review on a Glycidol Methacrylate Acid Plant in Freeport Texas. This New Process was designed to take 6-7 months of intense Study, and I completed it in 1.5 months. This allowed me to help train new operators and, I was able to be on the Startup Team of this process, thus saving the Company ~ $5000 of overtime pay that was to be paid to overworked personnel during startup.
