Additional Information
My main study while in college was learning how to advocate women and children who experienced domestic abuse. The reason why I had an interest in this field, because I also experienced mental and physical abuse. I also took many courses of native studies that pertained to why alcohol and drugs has been a problem among our native communities and to understand the vicious cycle that haunts native people as a whole crises situation. As a Native American woman, I certainly can sympathise with women and children as a whole who have experienced the vicious cycle of mental and physical abuse. I have high hopes to work as a advocate in the native community.
